In 2009, Con Alma Health Foundation started a tradition of recognizing individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the health of their communities, large and small. We call them Heroes of Health.
Help us Honor a New Mexico Hero of Health
Nomination Deadline: Oct 20th, 2025
Annually, we honor an unsung hero within New Mexico that is dedicated to improving health. We seek to recognize an individual whose actions advance health equity, reduce disparities, drive meaningful change, and uplift community voices.
Eligibility
Must have worked to build health equity within New Mexico and currently residing within the state.
Work is consistent with Con Alma’s Mission and Core Values.
Cannot be a sitting member of the state, tribal, and federal legislative body or other public elected officials.
Con Alma will make a $2,000 donation on behalf of the Hero to a New Mexico nonprofit of their choice. They will be featured on our website and recognized in their local community for their remarkable impact.
